4. How do I register my computer?
Before you are able to connect through ResNET, you must first register your computer with ITS. This registration identifies and assigns your PC an IP address. Follow the steps below to confirm your registration...-
1. You must be enrolled as a student with Cameron University.
2. You must have a student email account.
- All enrolled students receive a CU account. This account provides students with e-mail capabilities and the option of creating web pages. For more information, visit the Academic Computer Lab.
3. Click here to register.
Additional Information
Before each semester, an account with a single user ID is created for students to access the following systems:

MyCU
BlackBoard
Student email
Python
Library
and Academic Systems Math software, if applicable
USER ID:
The user ID (login) will consist of the student's first and last name initials and the last 6 digits of their student ID number.

For example:
John Samuel Compute / Student ID # 000090210 / SSN 123-45-6789
Student User ID = jc090210
Email Address = jc090210@wolverine.cameron.edu
PASSWORDS:
Passwords will be constructed with the student's first and last name initials and the last 5 digits of social security number.
- Example:
Password = jc56789
Should students need assistance, please contact the Academic Computer Lab in Burch Hall Rm. 104 at (580-581-2829).
