WebGUI links
- pdf creator - As much as possible, create pdf's of your forms and documents instead of posting Word or WordPerfect documents. Not all people have Word or may have a different version and cannot read the documents when posted in this version. Adobe Reader is free and allows anyone to be able to download and view pdf documents. PDFCreator is free software that you can install. To create the pdf, simply begin to print your file except change the printer to PDF Creator. You'll be prompted for information to create the pdf file instead of actually printing. Very simple and easy to use. If you are wanting to create more complicated pdfs that have bookmarks, links and make use of forms, you will need to contact the helpdesk about purchasing Adobe Acrobat Professional.
- gui.picresize.com - Never post your original jpgs straight from your digital camera! They are too large and should be resized or even cropped for the webpage. Try to keep your jpg's smaller than 300 or 400 pixels unless absolutely necessary. This is an online service that will allow you to upload your image and make modifications to it if you do not possess any image editing software.
- www.webgui.org - Official site for WebGUI. It has forums and a wiki to help you with your questions. You can also download a pdf of the WebGUI primer at https://www.plainblack.com/services/training/webgui-primer
