IDEA Instructions
Information:
Faculty members will receive two documents with detailed instructions for this survey:
1. Directions To Faculty (on blue paper),
2. IDEA Center Using Additional Questions with the IDEA Student Ratings of Instruction system (on yellow paper).
What course instructors need to do before conducting the survey in class:
1. Faculty members will receive a brown envelope for each class containing:
a. (1) Blue Faculty Information Form(you must complete this form)
b. (number to match enrollment indicated on mycu) burgundy Survey forms
c. (1) Sealing White Envelope
2. Faculty members and/or departments may add up to 18 questions to the survey. The questions must be prepared according to the instructions on the yellow instructions sheets: Using Additional Questions with the IDEA Student Ratings of Instruction System. These will be included with the documents delivered to each department.
3. Follow the instructions on the blue IDEA Directions to Faculty. To help get the completed surveys to the departmental office, the department office number is included on the label attached to the white envelope. Please ask the person designated to collect the surveys to: (1) turn them all the same direction in the envelope, and (2) to seal the envelope and sign their name across the sealed lip of the white envelope.
Please return all unused copies of the burgundy form.
