Fall 2010 Tuition Notice: Cameron University is currently reviewing the tuition and fee structure.
The Tuition and Fee charges for the next academic year will be finalized with the approval of the Oklahoma State Regents in June. As soon as the revised rates are available, the new rates for tuition and fees will be published on this webpage.
You may also pick up a copy of the tuition and fee schedule as the revised rates are available at the One-Stop Shop in North Shepler, at Cameron University-Duncan, or the Harry S. Truman Education Center on Fort Sill.

Fees and tuition are subject to change without notice. In the event the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education assess a fee change, students will be assessed accordingly.
When is the deadline to pay?
Students are responsible for payment of tuition and fees for all classes in which they are enrolled as of the payment deadline. Students will not be cancelled from classes due to non-payment of tuition and fees by the due date. Students should drop any classes in which they do not wish to be enrolled prior to the due date in order to avoid billing and finance charges.

Students should pay tuition prior to the beginning of classes on January 11. If tuition and fees are not paid by February 26, interest charges of 1.5% will be assessed monthly.
If fees are not paid in full by May 7, an additional $50 will be added to the account balance. Students are responsible for paying the assessed tuition unless an official drop is completed before 5:00 p.m. on January 25 for 16-week classes, January 14 for 1st 8-week classes, or March 12 for 2nd 8-week classes.

Students should pay tuition prior to the beginning of classes on June 1. If tuition and fees are not paid by June 30, interest charges of 1.5% will be assessed monthly.
If fees are not paid in full by July 27, an additional $50 will be added to the account balance. Students are responsible for paying the assessed tuition unless an official drop is completed before 5:00 p.m. on June 4 for 8-week classes, June 3 for 1st 4-week classes, or July 1 for 2nd 4-week classes.

If fees are not paid in full by December 18, an additional $50 will be added to the account balance. Students are responsible for paying the assessed tuition unless an official drop is completed before 5:00 p.m. on August 31 for 16-week classes, August 23 for 1st 8-week classes, or October 19 for 2nd 8-week classes.

Where Do I Pay?
Walk-In Payment: Payment may be made in person to the Cashier in the Business Office of the Administration Building or at One Stop in North Shepler from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Students who are not receiving financial assistance should pay at One Stop. Students receiving financial assistance (loans, grants, or scholarships) must pay at the Administration Building.
Telephone Payment: Payment may be made via telephone using a VISA, MasterCard or Discover. Please have your credit card ready when calling. Call 581-5501 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Mail-In Payment: Make checks payable to Cameron University. Mail the check or money order to: Cameron University Business Office, 2800 W. Gore Blvd., Lawton, OK 73505. Include your name and social security number or student identification number on the check.
Online Payments: To make a payment online:
- Log into MyCU using your username and password.
- Click on the "MyInfo" tab.
- Select "Online Payment."
- Fill out the form with the required information.
- Click "Submit" ONCE to authorize your information to be submitted for payment.
Refunds for Schedule Changes or Complete Withdrawals
The AggieOne card provides Cameron students with increased choice when it comes to receiving their financial aid or school refunds, including the preferred "Easy Refund" method - the fastest and easiest way for students to gain access to their refund money.
What Students Need To Do The new AggieOne card will be mailed to each student's current address on file with Cameron. Therefore, it is critical that all students verify their mailing address by logging into https://mycu.cameron. edu.
When you receive the AggieOne card in the mail, please do not throw it away. There will be a replacement cost to have a new card issued.

Financial Assistance Information

Financial assistance is designed to help cover the cost of a college education and is intended to supplement the family and student contribution.
How to Apply for Summer 2010
- Fill out and submit the 2009-2010 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) packet available in the Financial Assistance Office or online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Students that received aid during Fall 08 or Spring 09 will already have this step completed.
- Bring a copy of your Summer 09 enrollment schedule to the Financial Assistance Office nad fill out the Summer Aid Application.
- For student loans, you will need to fill out a student loan request form along with the FAFSA and Summer Aid Application.
- Allow at least 30 days for the processing of your application.
How to Apply for Fall 2010
- Fill out and submit the 2010-2011 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) packet available in the Financial Assistance Office or online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
- For student loans, you will need to fill out a student loan request form in the financial assistance office once the result of your FAFSA is received by Cameron.
- Allow at least 60 days for the processing of your application.
Types of Financial Assistance
Grants: Grants are forms of financial assistance that do not require repayment. Grants are based on need, school costs and enrollment status.
Loans: Loans are a form of borrowed financial assistance that must be repaid with interest.
Workstudy: Workstudy provides opportunities on campus where students can earn money for education expenses.
Scholarships: Each year a variety of scholarships are awarded to Cameron students. The scholarships are made available by the State of Oklahoma, Cameron University, and private organizations through Cameron. Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis and based upon scholastic ability, financial need, demonstrated talent in individual studies, leadership, athletics or fine arts.
