Tennis Courts
The Cameron Tennis Complex was built in 1978, and has eight courts,
two banks of four each. The complex also has a tennis house for the
the Cameron tennis teams and bleacher seating for approximately 150
people.
Cameron has a strong tradition in tennis with the women's team
sporting a 241-83 record during the last 20 years. Cameron's teams
have registered numerous NAIA and NCAA post-season appearances, with
the best showing coming in 1981 when it finished 7th in nation in
NAIA.
Cameron started a men's tennis program during the 1993-94 season and
it has shown paralled success. The team has advanced to the NCAA II
post-season tournament each of its first three years in existence, a
feat hard to match anywhere.
The Tennis Complex also hosts many high school tournaments and the
Lawton Tennis Association events throughout the year.
