Gymnasium
The Cameron Gymnasium, built in 1957, has the capacity for more than
1,800 cheering fans. Both of Cameron's men and women basketball
teams, as well as the volleyball team call the Cameron Gymnasium home.
The Cameron Aggie basketball team won the 1980 NAIA National
Championship, and today both the men's and women's teams compete on
the national and regional level in the NCAA and Lone Star Conference.
The Gymnasium houses the athletic training office, a weight room, and
locker room and coaches' offices for the basketball and volleyball
teams.
The gym is also used for high school basketball play-offs and various
activities throughout the year.
