Cohabitation

Cohabitation is not allowed in any Housing facility. Cohabitation is defined as a person using a residence hall room/apartment as if that person were living in the room/apartment but not actually being assigned as a resident of that room/apartment. Examples of this may include, but are not limited to, keeping clothing and other personal belongings in the room/apartment and sleeping overnight in the room/apartment on a regular basis and using the bathroom and shower facilities as if they lived in that room/apartment. Violating a roommate’s right of entry into their room/apartment or hindering a roommate’s ability to study and/or sleep within their room/apartment, because of a guest’s continual presence, is considered a violation of this rule.
