Congratulations on completing the requirements for the master's degree program at Cameron University! We have planned a very memorable Hooding Ceremony to honor and celebrate this important milestone in your life.
Members of the Cameron faculty and staff look forward to joining you and wishing you well on this significant occasion. This website will provide information regarding the time and location of your assembly, arrangements for your guests, and parking information.
The ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 11, 2013, in Aggie Gym. All those involved in the ceremony should assemble no later than 9:30 a.m. under the large tent west of Aggie Gym.
All hood recipients should bring with them their name card that they received in the mail.
Hood recipients will assemble by academic discipline. Ceremony Assistants will be available in the main lobby to assist with directions and questions.
If you are physically challenged and will need assistance participating in the Processional, or crossing the stage to be hooded, please contact Ms. Sarah Godsave at 580.581.6775 prior to the day of the Hooding Ceremony.

Commencement regalia is available for order at the campus bookstore located in the MCC during regular operating hours. Regalia must be ordered by Monday, April 22 to guarantee arrival for hooding.
The master's degree regalia package (cap, gown, tassel and hood) costs $66.00 each, tax not included. Additional tassels are $5.00 each, tax not included.
If you plan to purchase master's degree regalia but live outside Lawton, you may call the bookstore at 580.581.2375 to make postal arrangements. Overnight shipping is available, but must be arranged before Monday, April 22.
Plenty of parking is available on campus. The closest parking lots to Aggie Gym are adjacent to the following buildings: Burch Hall, Howell Hall, the Library, and CETES.
Please advise your guests to allow sufficient time to walk from parking areas and be seated no later than 9:45 a.m. Ceremony Assistants in the lobby are available to answer questions. Guests are asked to enter Aggie Gym using the east doors.
Arrangements for the Physically Challenged
Plenty of clearly marked parking for the physically challenged is available in all the university parking lots. Ceremony Assistants serving as doormen to assist those who are physically challenged.
You will no doubt wish to capture this important occasion in photographs and on video. We encourage you and an your guests to do so. Please advise your family and friends that during the ceremony, only Hooding Ceremony participants are permitted near the stage. Therefore, we ask that photographs be taken from your seat. After the ceremony, photographs may be taken anywhere.
A professional photographer will photograph each graduate as he/she is hooded. Please fill out the Master's Degree Ceremony photography card that was included with Graduation Times and bring it with you to the ceremony. The company will contact you with the option to purchase copies of your photograph. However, there is no obligation to do so. All transactions must be between the photographer and individual candidates. Cameron University is not involved in the billing or collecting of moneys for this service.
