Applying for External Grants

Institutional Grant Writing

Are you a faculty or staff member who is interested in applying for external grant funds for a specific program or research project? The  Institutional Grant Writer (IGW) can help you with the following:

  • Researching grant opportunities
  • Supporting grant development (completing and submitting a competitive grant application)
  • Explaining institutional guidelines for grants approval and submission. (For example, did you know you have to submit a grant internally 2 weeks before the external deadline?)

Let the IGW know of your interest by completing the Intent to Submit External Grant Form.

Also, please check out the Resources page for places to start searching for specific funding opportunities.

If you are proposing research with human subjects, you must follow the protocols on this page
