Oklahoma's Promise Guidelines
Cameron University
When Cameron submits the billing to Ok's Promise, we bill for the amount of hours the student is enrolled in, regardless of tuition waiver award. Student’s receiving a full or partial tuition waiver and Ok's Promise may charge their books or room and board against
Ok's Promise up the amount of their general tuition. To do so, the student should contact the Financial Assistance Office or the Scholarship Clerk at the Cameron Business Office. Students wishing to charge books and/or room and board are handled one-on-one.

When Cameron receives the actual funding from Ok's Promise, if the student owes no money o the university, they can receive the amount of their Ok's Promise in cash providing the Ok's Promise amount fits into their individual cost of attendance. Cost of attendance is the
student’s financial aid budget minus any other awards, including grants and scholarships. If the student has outstanding fees, book(s), and/or room and board charges the charges will be deducted from Ok's Promise cash and the student receives the
balance.
