Cameron Gold Scholarship

To qualify for the Cameron Gold Scholarship, students must take the following steps:

1. Be eligible for and receive OHLAP funding.

2. Apply for admission to Cameron University.

3.  Submit an Admissions Scholarship Application to the Office of Admissions.

4. Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to fafsa.ed.gov.

5. Submit the on-line Cameron Gold Scholarship Application listed below.

6.  Deadline: By April 1, 2008 you must:
     *  Be admitted to Cameron University as a first-semester incoming freshman
     * Have submitted your Admissions Scholarship Application
     * Have submitted your FAFSA Application
     * Have submitted your Cameron Gold Scholarship Application

7. Enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours for the Fall 2008 semster (not required by
     April 1st).

To continue to receive the Cameron Gold Scholarship each year students must take the following steps:

1. Enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours during the fall and spring semesters.

2.  Continue to meet academic standards for retention.

3. Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to fafsa.ed.gov.

All students selected as recipients of the Cameron Gold Scholarship will be required to sign a contract of agreement stating that they are aware of the requirements that must be met in order to continue with the scholarship.
Any violation of these requirements will result in the removal of the student from the Cameron Gold Scholarship Program.
