Managing operations to involve staff, setting priorities and aligning resources with the organizational vision. You know how to apply legal principles to promote equity and maintain safe, effective facilities.
Managing resources, including technology, in long-range planning that align with teaching and learning. You understand that resources must be sought that enhance school management, scheduling, and business operations.
Standard 4: Collaborating with families and community members to mobilize community resources
Collaborating with families and community members by outreach methods aimed at business, religious, political, and service organizations and partnerships to integrate health, social, and other services into the school.
Responding to Community interests and needs through an understanding of diverse school and community conditions including special and exceptional needs to improve school programs.
Mobilizing Community Resources by understanding how to use school resources and social service agencies to serve the community and encourage communities to provide new resources to address emerging student problems.
