Radio/Television faculty members, Mr. Steve Adams and Dr. Matt Jenkins, sponsor the Communications Department's Broadcast Club. Membership is open to any Cameron student interested in radio/television. The club has student officers and meets periodically during each semester.
The activities of the club consist of the following:
Field trips to radio and television stations in Texas and Oklahoma
Field trips to corporate video studios
Field trip to the Oklahoma Educational Television Authority's (OETA) fall seminar
Video and audio competition with other Oklahoma college radio/television students sponsored by the Oklahoma Broadcast Education Association (OBEA)
