Club for Radio/Television Students

Radio/Television faculty members, Mr. Steve Adams and Dr. Matt Jenkins, sponsor the Communications Department's Broadcast Club. Membership is open to any Cameron student interested in radio/television. The club has student officers and meets periodically during each semester.

The activities of the club consist of the following:

• Field trips to radio and television stations in Texas and Oklahoma
• Field trips to corporate video studios
• Field trip to the Oklahoma Educational Television Authority's (OETA) fall seminar
• Video and audio competition with other Oklahoma college radio/television students sponsored by the Oklahoma Broadcast Education Association (OBEA)
• Participation in campus activities
• Social activities
