Cameron University's legacy of educational excellence began nearly a century ago when a few brick-and-mortar buildings sprang to life in a wheat field west of Lawton.

Through World Wars, economic decline and prosperity, and an ever evolving educational landscape, Cameron has been home to students from across the country and around the world, each proudly contributing to the aggies hertiage.

The 2008-2009 academic year will mark Cameron's 100th year of changing student lives. Those who have attended Cameron over the past century received an educational experience that prepared them for successful careers after graduation. Cameron's 100th birthday will offer CU friends and supporters the opportunity to celebrate this rich heritage.
