Cameron Gold Scholarship - Qualifications

To qualify for the scholarship students must complete ALL of the steps below by APRIL 1, 2008:

  1. Apply for admission to Cameron University.
  2. Submit a scholarship application to the Office of Admissions. 
  3. Submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to the Office of Financial Assistance.
  4. Submit a Cameron Gold Application to the Office of Financial Assistance.
  5. Be admitted as a first semester incoming freshman at Cameron for the Fall 2008 semester.
  6. Be eligible for and receive OHLAP funding.


To continue to receive the scholarship students must take the following steps each year:

  1. Complete a minimum of 12 credit hours of course work during each fall and spring semester.
  2. Meet university academic standards for retention.
  3. Submit a completed FAFSA to the Office of Financial Assistance.
  4. Submit a completed scholarship application to the Office of Financial Assistance.
  5. Remain eligible for and receive OHLAP funding.
