Cameron Gold Scholarship - Qualifications
To qualify for the scholarship students must complete ALL of the steps below by APRIL 1, 2010:
- Apply for admission to Cameron University.
- Submit a scholarship application to the Office of Admissions.
- Submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to the Office of Financial Assistance. (Student must provide additional documentation if requested from the Office of Financial Assistance.)
- Be admitted as a first semester incoming freshman at Cameron for the Fall 2010 semester.
- Be eligible for and receive OHLAP funding.
To continue to receive the scholarship students must take the following steps each year:
- Complete a minimum of 12 credit hours of course work during each fall and spring semester.
- Meet university academic standards for retention.
- Submit a completed FAFSA no later than April 1 each year to the Office of Financial Assistance. (Student must provide additional documentation if requested from the Office of Financial Assistance.)
- Submit a completed scholarship application to the Office of Financial Assistance.
- Remain eligible for and receive OHLAP funding.
