Since 1908, Cameron University has been committed to providing high quality, affordable educational programs to students in Oklahoma.
As part of this commitment, Cameron University is proud to offer the Cameron Gold Scholarship to work in conjunction with Oklahoma's Promise (OHLAP).
The Oklahoma's Promise program pays the cost of tuition expenses, but funding for books and mandatory fees is not provided. These costs often serve as a barrier to students' ability to complete their bachelor's degree.
Cameron Gold will ensure that students have the financial aid necessary to pay for mandatory fees and books by filling in any gaps in funding if Oklahoma's Promise and other financial aid are not sufficient to cover these costs.
With the Cameron Gold Scholarship, qualified students can rest assured they will have the funding needed for tuition, mandatory fee and book costs at Cameron Universtiy.
The Cameron Gold Difference
CAMERON GOLD ensures that eligible students will receive the funding necessary to graduate with a bachelor’s degree from Cameron University.
CAMERON GOLD is a long-term commitment, promising to ensure students have the funding needed to cover tuition, mandatory fees, and required books for a maximum of five years or up to the 128 credit hours needed to graduate with a bachelor’s degree.
CAMERON GOLD is flexible, allowing students to enroll in as few as 12 or as many as 18 hours during the fall and spring semesters. This flexibility allows students to tailor their education to meet their individual lifestyle and academic needs.
CAMERON GOLD, combined with Oklahoma's Promise, is valued at more than $30,000, depending on individual student circumstances.
CAMERON GOLD is an investment in the future of southwest Oklahoma, ensuring that more students have the financial resources necessary to complete a college degree and raising the number of degree holding citizens in our community.
