Since 1908, Cameron University has been committed to providing high quality, affordable educational programs to students in Oklahoma.
As part of this commitment, Cameron University is proud to offer the Cameron Gold Scholarship to work in conjunction with the Oklahoma Higher Learning Access Program (OHLAP), also known as Oklahoma’s Promise.
OHLAP provides many students the financial means necessary to cover the tuition costs of higher education.
However, in addition to tuition students often face the daunting task of finding money to pay for books and mandatory fees as part of their college education. These costs often serve as a barrier to completing their degree.
The Cameron Gold Scholarship will alleviate this burden for qualifying students as they pursue a bachelor’s degree at Cameron University.
The Cameron Gold Difference
CAMERON GOLD ensures that eligible students will receive the funding necessary to graduate with a bachelor’s degree from Cameron University.
CAMERON GOLD is a long-term commitment, promising to provide funding to cover tuition, mandatory fees, and required books for a maximum of five years or up to the 128 credit hours needed to graduate with a bachelor’s degree.
CAMERON GOLD is flexible, allowing students to enroll in as few as 12 or as many as 18 hours during the fall and spring semesters. This flexibility allows students to tailor their education to meet their individual lifestyle and academic needs.
CAMERON GOLD, combined with OHLAP, is valued at more than $25,000, depending on individual student circumstances.
CAMERON GOLD is an investment in the future of Southwest Oklahoma, ensuring that more students have the financial resources necessary to complete a college degree and raising the number of degree holding citizens in our community.
