The board consists of approximately 10-12 students representing the diverse nature of the student body who demonstrate leadership and academic acumen. Invitations will be extended to leaders of the University-recognized Business student organizations. Additionally, applications will be accepted to fill a few member-at-large positions to ensure representation from the Business student sub-groups (e.g. graduate, undergraduate, international, associate degree-seeking, etc.). Students must be in good academic standing and have completed at least BUS 1113 and BUS 2113 to apply.
Invitation acceptances and member-at-large applications must include a current resume and transcript. All acceptances and applications are due to the Chair's Suite (ROSS 225) by the first Friday in September or other announced date. A small committee of students, faculty, and staff will review all applications. Members will be notified toward the end of September. Student Advisory Board members are asked to serve for the full academic year.
