Dr. Syed Ahmed is a Professor of Economics and Director of the Business Research Center. Dr. Ahmed earned his bachelor's degree in economics from University of Dhaka, master's degrees in Economics from University of Dhaka and University of Manitoba and a Ph.D. in Economics from Simon Fraser University. He taught at the University of Victoria and the University of Dhaka. He has published articles in numerous refereed journals and has made many presentations at professional conferences. Recently he completed an instructor's manual for a popular Canadian Money and Banking Text. Currently he is working on the Asian currency crisis. His dream is to write a best seller in international finance one day.

Velton Flowers is the Business Counselor for the School of Business, the liaison between the School of Business and the University Admissions office. Mr. Flowers is on the production staff responsible for publication of the Southwest Business and Economic Journal. He has an AA in General studies from the University of Maryland, a BBA and a M.B.A. from Cameron University. During his tenure as an MBA student he was recruited to work for the Business Research Center in the School of Business as a Graduate Research Assistant. As a result of research conducted while working with the BRC, he received the "School of Business Aulena Scearce Gibson and Gilbert G. Gibson Award" for Outstanding Contributions to the Graduate Program.

Bernadette Domingo-Lonzanida is the Accounting Lab Supervisor. She has a B.Sc. in Commerce, major in Accounting degree from Saint Mary's University, Philippines and MBA from Cameron University where she earned the Most Outstanding MBA Student Award. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the Philippines and in Oklahoma.
