Gerri Hair, of Lawton, received an associate degree from Cameron in 1952, and a degree in business administration from Dallas Baptist University. She serves as program coordinator and editor of the bulletin at the Center for Creative Living. During a varied career in profit and non-profit organizations, she has been a seminar leader, public speaker, author, editor and publisher. She was vocational director of Nexus, Inc., a female alcohol and drug rehabilitation program. She has held positions in the field of education including adjunct professor and director of the Institute for Women in Business at Southern Methodist University where she was originator, editor and publisher of a nationally distributed newsletter, MS. BIZ. She was director of academic affairs at Northwood Institute in Texas and director of alumni relations at Dallas Baptist University. She has been a speaker for numerous organizations, workshops and seminars. She worked in politics and was an administrative assistant to President Lyndon B. Johnson's special assistant in Washington, D.C.
