Dear Agricultural Education Instructors:

You are invited to attend the Annual Cameron University FFA Interscholastic Career Development Events. The contests are designed for FFA members to test their skills in a variety of judging and speaking areas. Official rules governing Oklahoma State FFA Career Development Events will prevail.  See OSU website at http://cde.okstate.edu/

Statewide leadership contests are scheduled for Monday afternoon, April 8. ***The Speech and Parliamentary Procedure Contests are now open to all FFA Chapters in the state of Oklahoma.*** Contestants will meet in the the Shepler Ballroom located on the mezzanine of the Shepler Complex at 3:00 P.M. for Parliamentary Procedure and 4:00 P.M. for Public Speaking. 

All Oklahoma high school Agriculture Departments are eligible to participate in the judging contests on Wednesday, April 10. ALL contestants and sponsors who are participating in the judging contests are requested to assemble promptly at 8:00 A.M. at the CU Football Stadium located on 38th Street, just south of the 38th & Gore Blvd Intersection. If the weather turns bad that day, we will assemble in the CU Gymnasium, across the street south from Comanche County Memorial Hospital.

Each school is eligible to enter one (1) team of three or four (3-4) members and no extra individuals in the following contests: Livestock Judging Contest, Food Science Technology, Agricultural Communications, Entomology and Meats Judging. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE NO FARM SHOP/AG MECH CONTEST THIS YEAR. 

Team scores will be determined by the scores of the three (3) highest individuals of the designated four-person team.

Each school is eligible to enter one 3 or 4-member-team and up to four (4) additional individuals in the following contests: Agronomy, Dairy Foods, Land Judging, and Farm Business Management. The Land Judging site may be 15-20 miles from Lawton, so PLEASE be on time (8:00 A.M. sharp) for assembly at the CU Football Stadium, located on 38th Street just south of 38th Street & Gore Blvd. intersection (or at the CU Gym if inclement weather).
