Cameron University students
The Ethics Bowl is sponsored through the Rev Philip L. Jones Lectureship in Ethics, and is open to teams of 3 Cameron University students representing a variety of academic departments and student organizations. Teams will be mentored by a Faculty Coach/Advisor, and will engage in meaningful discussion in a debate type competition based on ethical dilemmas that challenge the world today. Approximately two dozen community leaders will serve as judges.
Cameron University's Ethics Bowl will take place on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 1-5pm. Contest check-in will be from 12:30-1pm.

Preparation, ethical analysis, and commitment will provide students with concentrated opportunities to sharpen their abilities to discern, analyze, and evaluate all perspectives while communicating in an intense arena. The opportunity allows students to demonstrate critical thinking ability, ethical problem solving, and provides opportunities to meet community leaders that may well be their future employers.
Trophies will be awarded to the top three teams. Academic Department or Student Organization representatives will display the trophies in their respective offices.
Winning team members will each receive gift cards to the Cameron University Bookstore as follows:
1st place: $500 each
2nd place: $250 each
3rd place: $100 each
