In the spring of 2014 Cameron University established a new campus-wide effort to showcase research and scholarly activities among students and faculty. The Scholars Summit at Cameron University allows students and faculty to present their research and scholarly projects in a formal conference setting. It is scheduled to take place during the spring semester.

Scholars Summit 2016

The 2015 Scholars Summit will be held on April 13-14, 2016 in the CETES Conference Center between 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Both days will feature poster exhibits of research and scholarly works by students and faculty. On the second day of the Scholars Summit, student will present research projects as part of a moderated panel. The specific logistics for the Scholars Summit are as follows:


Days 1 (Wednesday - April 13): Poster Exhibit
Day 2 (Thursday - April 14): Poster Exhibit and Moderated Student Panels

Submission Deadline

The deadline for submitting basic information about your research (books, book chapters, articles, poster presentation, performances, art exhibits, etc) is March 28, 2016.
