Explanation
of Grading Criteria:
The Grade of F: unsatisfactory
An F assignment does not meet requirements. If a student receives
an F on a paper, he should
make an appointment with Prof. Hardin to discuss errors and
correction for future assignments.
The Grade of D: borderline unsatisfactory
A D assignment contains major errors but some sort of organization
can be observed. This grade suggests the student has some major deficiencies
which prevent full appreciation of the site. If a student receives
a D on an assignment, he should make an appointment with Mrs. Hardin to
discuss errors and correction for future assignments
The Grade of C: conditionally satisfactory
A C assignment contains errors that inhibit full benefit of the site.
This grade usually suggests that the student has some deficiencies understanding
layout, balance, or contrast, or he didn't include all components of the
assignment.
The grade C- represents a serious weakness in comprehension.
The grade of C points to basic solidity of a student's design, but
contains a warning that the student must refine some components.
The grade of a C+ commends the student's insight and is meant to offer
encouragement that the work is almost on the level of mastery.
The Grade ofB: above average
B is a grade that indicates that the student performed slightly above
average. There are still minor errors that, if fixed would make the site
more productive.
A B+ assignment has an original and unusual design, is ingenious in
its layout, but lacks creativity found in an A assignment.
The Grade ofA: Outstanding, unusual work
An A assignment is always a surprise and cannot be predicted. It fulfills
all of the requirements of a B assignment, but shows a refinement
of layout, balance, color, contrast, graphics, etc. It is deep and original
in content
An A- assignment contains all of these characteristics, but may have
a few minor errors that don't inhibit the site.
An A+ assignment is the greatest of compliments. It exceeds all expectation
and has no errors.
Attendance Requirements: If you are absent on a due date, you must
make appropriations for your work to be turned in on time. Any quizzes
missed may not be made up. If there is valid reason for extended absence,
schedule an appointment with Mrs. Hardin to discuss options for make-up.
NO
WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER DUE DATE
